Logan's Blessing

A few weeks ago we were able to go down to Las Vegas to see my newest nephew, Logan Ryan Bradshaw, be blessed. This is just of our family, minus one brother-in-law. We're getting so big!

Flower on Wedding Day

I did it! After years of wanting to learn how to oil paint, I finally decided to take art lessons from one of my good friends. This is my first oil painting. I wish you could see the texture better.

I was able to enter it in at the Utah State Fair and went with my family to see it.

Camping

Barrett and I went camping with our friends Teresa and Shane, and Natalie and Robbie over Labor Day weekend at Mill Hollow Reservoir. We had a good time relaxing and fishing.
This is the first fish that I have ever caught!
(I've only been fishing one other time)
I was excited, but yelling for Barrett to reel in and tell me what to do with the fish.

Lake Powell

We love Lake Powell!

Barrett's Aunt and Uncle were so awesome in letting the entire Taylor side of their family (about 30 people) use their boat and sleep in their house boat. Barrett has been to Lake Powell multiple times, but I had not been since I was 12. Needless to say, I haven't been much of a boater and am still scared everytime I get in a boat and know I have to be pulled behind the boat. This is my own choice because I want to try everything, but I always have to prepare my mind before doing anything. So I am happy to say that I kneeboarded and wakeboarded for the first time, as well as surfed and tubed. Everyone was supportive and I was happy I was brave. Of course Barrett is a pro at everything behind the boat, but sadly we didn't get many pictures behind the boat.

Barrett's brother, Isaac, found an artifact from a past family trip to Lake Powell, ha ha.

We also had a lot of fun just swimming and chilling on the rocks.

I had to post this cute picture of Barrett's cousin's son, Aiden, wearing Barrett's hat. He was exhausted by that point and fell asleep not long after.

Oquirrh Moutain Temple Open House

When my sister was here at the end of June we were able to go to the Open House for the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was beautiful and we got some great pictures!

My niece, Maliya, would only hold Barrett's hand the whole time. If someone tried to hold her hand she would run to find Barrett. I think someone has a crush.

Birthday Weekend

Starting on my birthday July 9 (a Thursday) I was able to celebrate my birthday all weekend.

Barrett bought me a bike! I was so excited and immediately went on a bike ride... only to find that my thighs are extremely weak and it bruises my butt. How come I never noticed that when I rode all day as a kid?

It was weird having only one person sing to me as I blew out my candles, but look at the wonderful cake Barrett made for me.

We went to the Jon Schmidt concert at the Sandy Amphitheater with Barrett's family on Friday

On Saturday we went golfing at Mountain Dell Golf Course with my dad and brother. Sadly, I forgot to bring the camera, but this is what the course looks like. It's pretty!

I had a great birthday and am happy to be 22!
