Friend time

Since Barrett only worked part-time and we were staying at our parent's houses so I didn't have many household duties, we took advantage of the time off and tried to hangout a lot with family and friends. Here are a few fun pictures of all the friend hangouts.

One of our first days there we went to Cowabunga Bay with Natalie, Robbie, and Hunter.
Barrett's cousin, Abby, and her daughter, Londyn, were in town when we first got there. Lily and Londyn got to go swimming together at Grammy's pool!
My friend from work, Paige, just moved back to Utah from Hawaii, so we got to play a couple times with her twins, Trey and Skylee. (Lily was not to happy to share her seat in this picture:))

On our way home from Logan one time we stopped to see Logan and Deborah's beautiful new home. Then Deborah and I were able to get together at City Creek one day so Eloise and Lily could play. These pictures are at the really cool Dinosaur area at the food court.

We also went to a Real game with Deborah and Logan right before we moved.

Barrett and I got to meet Julie and Nate's new baby, Walter, two different times when we were in Logan visiting my sister, as well as see their beautiful house they just bought. Deborah, Julie, and I also made another day work to hangout and have the kids play.
Eloise, Calvin, and Lily
It's so fun that we've still been able to stay in touch since being college roommates!

We were also really lucky to see some friends we made in Baltimore. Mary, Tyler, and Maya were in Utah visiting family so Ashley and Justin (who now live in Utah) were so nice to take us all out on their family's boat.
Lily did not like the life vest at all!
 Watching Barrett wakeboard.

After the boys wakeboarded we had a little light left to take the kids on a tube ride.
The sunset was beautiful as we drove off the lake! We love boating!
Ashley came down to shop once with me and then we were able to see the Norman's one last time before we moved. We ate at Bonsai and then played at a park after.

So cute! We weren't fast enough to get a picture of Keaton and Lily hugging, but at least we got this one of Lily and Aisley.
The two groups I am so SO sad I didn't get pictures of are having dinner twice with Emma and Levi, another lunch date with Emma, and a girls' night with some high school friends. At least I can document in words. And... Hayley kindly sent me this picture of her cheesecake from the girls night dinner/dessert at The Cheescake Factory, so that shows proof right?
Barrett and I feel so incredibly blessed for all the friends we have made. Although it's difficult to move frequently, it has helped us meet so many great people that really are so kind, easy to talk to, and great examples to us. And we were happy to spend so much time in Utah, but also limited time, because we saw our friends this summer WAY more than we ever would have if we had stayed put, ha ha. One positive about moving far away maybe.
